Gonna be honest. I did not expect to enjoy this show as much as I did, but from the opening sequence, it just grabbed me and held my attention. Neither the Victorian era nor period pieces particularly excite me, but this one is well-written, well-costumed, well-filmed, and exceedingly well-acted. Plus, it has a certain style that was irresistible to me. I'd describe the vibe of the series as Steven Soderbergh Ocean's 11, but set in the late 1800's and not involving a heist. Give it a watch. It's fun!...
