On November 1, 2022, it was announced by Canada's Drag Race via social media that casting was officially open, with a deadline of November 21, 2022. The cast of Season 4 was officially announced on October 18, 2023, along with a premiere date of November 16, 2023 for the nine episode season. This season features contestants competing for the title of "Canada’s Next Drag Superstar", a cash prize of $100,000 CAD, a crown and sceptre from Amped Accessories and a supply of beauty products from Shoppers Drug Mart.
